1. Information We Collect
We collect the minimum information necessary to provide Creatives Gen services to you.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. This is stored locally on your device using your browser's localStorage — it is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Brand Settings: Your brand preferences (colors, business name, industry, tone, logo images) are stored locally on your device using localStorage. We do not transmit or store these on our servers.
Image Generation Prompts: When you generate images, your prompts (including topic descriptions, brand details you've entered, and any uploaded reference images) are sent to our backend server, which forwards them to Google's Gemini AI API. We do not store these prompts or the generated images on our servers after the API response is returned to your browser.
Usage Data: We may collect anonymous usage metrics such as page visits and feature interactions to improve the product. This data does not identify you personally.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide and operate the Creatives Gen image generation service
- To maintain your account and subscription status
- To forward image generation requests to Google Gemini AI on your behalf
- To track your trial image usage (stored locally on your device)
- To respond to your support requests and communications
- To improve our product based on aggregated usage patterns
- To send important service announcements (we will not send marketing emails without your consent)
We do not use your information to train AI models, profile you for advertising, or sell your data to third parties.
3. Data Storage and Security
Local Storage: Your account credentials, brand settings, and usage count are stored in your browser's localStorage on your device. This data never leaves your device except as part of image generation requests described above.
No Server-Side Storage: Creatives Gen does not maintain a database of user accounts or generated images. We do not store your prompts, generated images, or brand information on our servers.
API Security: All communication between your browser and our backend is encrypted via HTTPS. Our backend server securely proxies requests to Google's API — your browser never directly accesses the API key.
Data Retention: Because we do not store your data server-side, there is no data retention period. Your data exists only on your device and is cleared when you clear your browser data.
4. Third-Party Services
Creatives Gen uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Google Gemini AI (Google LLC): We send your image generation prompts and any uploaded reference images to Google's Gemini API to generate images. Your prompts are processed by Google according to their Privacy Policy and API Terms of Service. We recommend reviewing Google's AI data usage policies.
- JSZip (open source): A client-side JavaScript library used to create ZIP downloads of your generated images. No data is transmitted to any server.
If we add new third-party services in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
Creatives Gen uses browser localStorage (not cookies) to store your account data and preferences on your device. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
The localStorage keys we use are:
- cg_acct — your account name, email, plan type, and image usage count
- cg_brand — your brand settings (colors, name, industry, tone)
You can clear this data at any time through your browser's developer tools or by clearing site data. Doing so will log you out and reset your trial count.
We may use anonymized analytics cookies (e.g., a privacy-first analytics provider) in the future. We will update this policy and add an opt-out mechanism before doing so.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Access: You can view all data we hold about you. Since most data is stored locally on your device, you can inspect it directly.

- Right to Portability: Your data is stored in standard JSON format in localStorage and can be exported via your browser's developer tools.

Creatives Gen is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
